THE WONDER-SHIRTS ANNUAL CATALOG 2014

Wonder-Shirts is a t-shirt company that specializes in designs based on classic children's literature. They wanted to move from marketing strictly to their distributors and directly target their consumers. I was the Creative Director and Project Manager of their 2014 Annual Catalog.

I was involved in every aspect of the project beginning with concepting, mood boards, and sketches. These give a little peek into how we got to the final result.

In order to make a 32 hour photoshoot run smoothly (with both children and animals) you have to be prepared. Each spread was approved before the shoot began. A thorough schedule was designed and given to every team member before we began. Below are some excerpts from the process from sketches to the final product.

Almost all of the props were designed or created by hand. Books were painted or wrapped in newsprint to achieve the white-on-white look. The stars were cut from metallic posterboard and suspended with fishing line to get realistic angles.

We styled and shopped for all of the outfits for the shoot. Each one was carefully crafted to reflect the nature of the shirt design and give a new tip on how to dress up a t-shirt.

Without this phenomenal team, it would have never come together as nicely as it did. They're the best!
